This masterclass aims to provide participants with a practical and theoretical understanding of basic lighting tools and techniques for live performances and artistic installations. Through practical exercises and demonstrations, participants will be immersed in professional workflows and learn how to use industry-standard tools such as Qlab, Ableton Live, Resolume and more.

Objectives :
- Master the basics of lighting for live performances.
- Understand the use of different spotlights and control systems.
Content :
- Types of projectors : Traditional and modern luminaires, and their specific uses.
- Lighting console and dimmer : Programming and managing lighting via consoles.
- DMX : Communication protocols between the console and the lighting fixtures.
- Lighting management software :
- Qlab for managing light cues.
- Other tools and software used in the lighting industry.
Duration : from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break.
Eligibility criteria :
Young technicians, artists, or anyone with a technical base who wants to develop it.
Application procedure and payment of training costs:
If the eligibility criteria are met, candidates are encouraged to submit their application by completing the form on the link below.
Lunch will be provided during the training day.
Transport costs will be reimbursed for participants coming from the Tunisian regions, on presentation of the necessary documents.
Selection process :
All applications received will be selected on the basis of the candidate's file.
NB: Candidates may apply for any of the three workshops on offer. However, each candidate will be selected for the workshop that best matches their profile and specific needs.

Mohamed Hédi Belkhir, aka Mich, is technical director of the L'Art Rue association and the Dream City festival. He is a recognised expert in sound, lighting and video techniques, with extensive experience in live productions and audiovisual installations.
