The "Establishment and Management of a Book Club" training provides the skills necessary to create a vibrant literary club. 

Participants will learn to select works on various themes, plan meetings with a consistent frequency, facilitate enriching discussions, and maintain member engagement.

Modules cover group management, debate facilitation, logistical meeting management, club promotion, and creating an inclusive environment. 

This training equips reading enthusiasts with theoretical and practical tools to create a dynamic, flourishing, and committed community of readers.

Objectives :

- Establish the book club as a meeting place.

- Maintain a regular meeting frequency for the club.

-Acquire group facilitation and speaking distribution skills.

- Lead debates on various topics based on books.

- Manage logistical aspects within the book club.

- Promote the club on social media.

- Engage participants in the book club and better understand some of its users.

- Raise awareness of the importance of reading aloud in book clubs.

- Motivate participants to create book clubs in schools.

Training Outline over three days: 

- Day One: (Face-to-face)

  • Presentation of the importance of a book club for young audiences (2 hours)
  • Group management: structuring, debate facilitation, conducting critical reading of a book (6 hours)

- Day Two(face-to-face)

  • Teenagers and reading: examples from the high school book club (2 hours)
  • Group management: speaking, listening, etc. (6 hours)

- Day 3 (online )

  • Digital Communication Strategy (2 x 4 hours)
