- Establish the book club as a meeting place.
- Maintain a regular meeting frequency for the club.
- Acquire group facilitation and speaking distribution skills.
- Lead debates on various topics based on books.
- Manage logistical aspects within the book club.
- Promote the club on social media.
- Engage participants in the book club and better understand some of its users.
- Raise awareness of the importance of reading aloud in book clubs.
- Motivate participants to create book clubs in schools.
Training Outline over three days:
- Day One:
- Presentation of the importance of a book club for young audiences
(2 hours) - Group management : structuring, leading a debate, conducting a critical reading of a book (3h)
- Presentation of the importance of a book club for young audiences
- Day two
- Teenagers and reading: examples from the high school book club or for adults (2 hrs)
- Group management: speaking, listening, etc. (3 hrs)
- Third day : how to programme a book club (3 hours)

Librarians, secondary school teachers, cultural mediators, association professionals and volunteers, booksellers, publishers, authors, illustrators, graphic designers, speech therapists, people undergoing retraining.
