Training Schedule for 2 and a half days training :

• Session 1: 4H

∙ Presentation of the participants and introduction to the objectives of the session.

∙ Discussion: questions/answers based on each participant's expectations and experiences.

∙ Introduction to the voice and vocal techniques.

∙ Practical tools for breathing and preparing the instrument (voice and body).

• Session 2 : 4H

∙ Introduction to vocal techniques.

∙ Reading aloud of selected texts to apply the techniques learnt.

∙ Group and individual practice with personalised feedback.

• Session 3 : 4H

∙ In-depth revision of the techniques seen in the first sessions.

∙ Technical work on punctuation and nuances.

∙ Practical exercises.

• Session 4 : 4H

∙ Revision and consolidation of the techniques covered.

∙ ntroduction to the art of interpreting and the importance of diction, with the intervention of a French language specialist.

∙ First simulation with microphone, without recording.

• Session 5 : 4H

∙ Summing up of the 4 days of training with an overall review of everyone's progress.

∙ Recording session and use of technical equipment.

∙ Final debriefing and personalised advice for independent practice.

Target Audience :

This training is aimed at both amateurs and professionals looking to specialize in French and English audiobook reading. No prerequisites are necessary, but a strong command of French and English and an interest in reading are recommended.
