Objectives :
To enable dancers who teach dance to establish a legal structure and set up dance workshops in their region.
Training Outline:
- Step 1: Week in Tunis – September 1 to 6
Training on setting up legal entities, budget management, and communication tools.
Pedagogy for teaching dance to diverse audiences: children, young adults, and using dance as a tool for outreach with specific groups (e.g. hospital or detention center settings).
Hands-on experience through free workshops organized in partnership with existing schools.
- Step 2: September 22 to 26
On-site supervision and support during the participants’ first workshops in their local regions.
Between the two phases, participants will be expected to prepare these initial workshops.
Training schedule:
- Part 1: September 1–6 (daily from 9 AM to 5 PM)
- Part 2: September 22–26 (exact workshop days in the regions to be determined with participants)
Please note, participants must attend all workshop sessions throughout the entire duration. Kindly apply only if you can attend all sessions.
Target audience : Dancers with teaching experience who wish to lead dance workshops in regional areas.
Nomber of participants: 8 participants
