A Springboard for Tunisian Cultural Actors
In an effort to support and energize the Tunisian cultural scene, the “Massari” project was launched with a clear objective: to offer quality training in various fields such as dance, visual arts, theater, music, cinema, books and digital. Initiated by six renowned Tunisian cultural organizations, namely L’Art Rue, Al Badil, Echos cinématographiques, Minassa (the Syndicat des libraires et distributeurs importateurs et exportateurs du livre – SLDIEL), and Safahat. The project aims to enhance the skills of cultural professionals through a series of diversified training courses.
A Unique Initiative: Why Massari?
What makes Massari different lies in several key aspects:
1. Strong local partners: With the contribution of six local partners well established in the Tunisian cultural landscape, the program benefits from diversified and in-depth expertise in each field.
2. Free of charge and assumption of costs: Participants benefit from free training, with the costs associated with their participation covered, making the program accessible to all, regardless of their place of residence.
3. Multilingual training: Exchanges and training take place in three languages (French, English and Arabic), promoting inclusion and diversity.
4. National scope: Thanks to the diversity of its participants, speakers and training venues, Massari aims to have an impact throughout Tunisia, promoting balanced and inclusive cultural development.
5. Networking and Collaboration: The program provides a dynamic networking platform for professionals in the cultural sector, encouraging fruitful collaboration and exchange.
Training adapted to the realities of the Tunisian cultural sector
As well as providing technical and artistic skills, Massari’s training courses are designed to meet the specific needs of the Tunisian cultural sector. Topics such as book clubs and group management are covered to explore social, historical and interpersonal issues relevant to cultural professionals in Tunisia.
A commitment to the evolution of the cultural sector
By aligning itself with the challenges and issues facing the Tunisian cultural sector, the Massari program is committed to contributing to its sustainable development by strengthening skills and professional networks, while promoting innovation and cultural diversity.
As a result, Massari is much more than just a training program. It’s a dynamic and inclusive initiative, designed to shape a more vibrant and resilient cultural future for Tunisia.
